From February 3 – May 26 (2019), Fondation Beyeler staged its most ambitious exhibition ever, which was devoted to the paintings and sculptures of the young Pablo Picasso from the so-called Blue and Rose periods, between 1901 and 1906.
For this occasion, the museum doubled the size of its art shop and sold products specifically designed for the event, being the Mikasso one of them.
Mikasso is inspired by Pablo Picasso’s work through the Blue, Rose and Early Cubism periods. For each of them, there is a different type of stick, all of them embodying distinctive characteristics of their respective periods, which have been translated into their unique shapes and colors.
